In Lublin, in preparation for the evangelical outreach from Nov. 15-19, we will have a prayer room running from Nov. 7-19, 6am to midnight everyday. Please pray for God's presence, for the participation of many Poles, and that our prayers will be answered as we lift up this evangelization!
The pastor of the Baptist Church in Lublin just resigned to take a position in another church on the other side of Poland. Pray that the church in Lublin will see this as an opportunity to define its own goals and that its members will reach out to the unsaved around them to meet those goals.
With the resignation of the pastor in Lublin, now all five Baptist Churches in the Lubelskie region are currently without a pastor. Pray that they will find the leadership they need to start planting churches in the towns near them where no church exists.
The pastors of the seven or eight evangelical churches in Lublin meet together regularly to pray and to talk about upcoming events. Pray that God will continue to strengthen this bond and that through it they will continue to work together to reach Lublin for Christ.
Please pray for wisdom for a young man in this region whose church plant did not take hold. He is now seeking God’s direction and may need to give up on church planting completely and find a job to support his family.
Please pray for wisdom for a group of missionaries who are working in an after school program on Fridays. Pray for wisdom as they try to demonstrate God's love to the 15 children there, and for opportunities to talk to the children about Jesus Christ. Please pray as they are considering giving them Bibles for Christmas, and for the director to allow them to give this gift.
